(WOODBURY, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Joshua Lafazan (Woodbury) is partnering with the Woodbury Jewish Center and Students Combat Corona to host a clothing, food, and supply drive to benefit the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless.
Organizers are seeking donations of:
- Unopened, non-perishable foods
- Personal Protective Equipment (masks, gloves, face shields, hand sanitizer)
- New clothing - all sizes
- Toiletries (travel-size toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, deodorant and other personal care products)
- Cleaning supplies (laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, household cleaners/wipes)
- Clean and/or new household items (pots and pans, sheets and pillowcases)
- Baby supplies (unopened baby formula and diapers)
Residents can drop off donations in person at the Woodbury Jewish Center, 200 South Woods Road, Woodbury, N.Y. 11797. from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Friday, March 19.
