Legislator Bill Gaylor joined with Village of Lynbrook Officials to attend the Daikin groundbreaking event in Lynbrook. The 10,000 square-foot state of the art training center is part of Daikin’s multi-million-dollar commitment to train the next generation of technicians to install and service cutting edge technology in order to bridge the local skilled labor shortage gap on Long Island.
“The Daikin training center is the first step to replenish our skilled labor population in a way that Long Island will benefit in the long term,” said Legislator Bill Gaylor. “These technicians will have the opportunity to learn how to service HVAC&R products, as well as provide solutions to Long Island customers that not only reduce energy costs, but also their impact on the environment through reduced emissions.”
