(BALDWIN, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) proudly joined the Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and her partners in government to celebrate the official grand opening of the SuperFresh market during a Friday, July 16 ribbon-cutting ceremony. Legislator Mulé presented a Nassau County Citation to the owners and thanked them for pursuing their vision to make the site at 1764 Grand Ave. a supermarket once again after Pathmark vacated the site in 2015.
“Throughout Nassau County, supermarkets serve as indispensable community hubs that connect us with our neighbors, nourish our families and drive our local economy,” Legislator Mulé said. “It was a pleasure to welcome SuperFresh to the Baldwin community and herald the arrival of a new business that is dedicated to serving the diverse needs of our residents. I wish them all the best in the months and years ahead!”
