Two Beaches Closed to Bathing Due to Elevated Bacterial Levels

Nassau County, NY – Nassau County Department of Health has closed Sea Cliff Beach and Island Park Beach to bathing due to elevated bacterial levels, effective today, July 21, 2021. In addition, Philip Healey Beach and Biltmore Beach Club in Massapequa and Morgan Sound in Glen Cove remain closed due to elevated bacterial levels. These beaches will remain closed until testing indicates that samples are within acceptable limits.
