Legislator Mulé Hosts Blood Drive at Baldwin’s Coral House

Legislator Mule - Blood Drive July 2021

(BALDWIN, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D - Freeport) partnered with the Coral House to host a summer blood drive in support of the New York Blood Center on Thursday, July 22. Legislator Mulé was one of the 23 residents who rolled up their sleeves to donate blood in support of New York Blood Center’s ongoing efforts to replenish and maintain blood supplies at local hospitals. Every donor received a box of Girl Scout cookies, which were provided by the Girl Scouts of Nassau and Suffolk County.

“As we continue to contend with a regional blood shortage, every donation is especially important to meeting the life-saving mission of the New York Blood Center,” Legislator Mulé said. “Great community partners like the Coral House and the Girl Scouts truly make it a pleasure to roll up our sleeves and give the gift of life.”
