LEGISLATOR GAYLOR & TOWN OF HEMPSTEAD CLERK KATE MURRAY CO-HOST SAFE CHILD ID EVENT AT WESTWOOD PARK

LEGISLATOR GAYLOR TOWN OF HEMPSTEAD CLERK KATE MURRAY CO-HOST SAFE CHILD ID EVENT AT WESTWOOD PARK

Nassau County Legislator Bill Gaylor joined together with Town of Hempstead Clerk, Kate Murray to host a Safe Child ID event at Westwood Park in Malverne. As part of the Town of Hempstead’s Operation Safe Child, parents are provided with an identification card that displays pertinent physical information relating to their child’s appearance.

“It was a pleasure getting the opportunity to meet with parents and their children at the safe child ID event in Westwood Park. Though Nassau County is one of the safest counties in the nation, parents should know that in the case of an emergency they’re prepared and have the ability to provide police with an up to date description of their child at a moment's notice,” said Legislator Gaylor.
