Mulé Joins Community Affairs Division of Freeport Police Department for “Bridging the Gap Field Day”

Legislator Debra Mule Joins Community Affairs Division of Freeport Police


(FREEPORT, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) joined her collogues in government and community stakeholders at Freeport’s Northeast Park on Saturday, Aug. 21 for the “Bridging the Gap” field day event - an event hosted by the Community Affairs division of the Freeport Police Department. The field day, which is an extension of the Department’s ongoing outreach efforts, included a tug-of-war, kickball, basketball, and a sack race.

“Freeport’s ‘Bridging the Gap’ field day is all about bringing our community together in a fun and welcoming setting to foster new and stronger bonds between residents and our local law enforcement professionals,” Legislator Mulé said. “I thank the Freeport Police Department for hosting this event and am pleased that the field day received such a warm response from residents.”
