Nassau County Legislator Bill Gaylor cohosted a Child Safety ID Program with Town of Hempstead Clerk Kate Murray at the Lynbrook Library. As part of the Town of Hempstead’s Operation Safe Child, parents are provided with an identification card that displays pertinent physical information relating to their child’s appearance.
“Thank you to all the parents that came out to the child ID program,” Legislator Gaylor said. “Though Nassau County is one of the safest counties in the nation, parents should know that in the case of an emergency or the unthinkable they are prepared and have the ability to provide police with an up to date description of their child at a moment's notice.”
