Nassau County Legislator Steve Rhoads invites all homeowners to attend a property tax exemption workshop. Department of Assessment staff will be on hand to provide individual assistance to any homeowner who would like to file for his or her Veterans, Senior Citizen, Cold War Veterans, Volunteer Firefighters and Ambulance Workers, Limited Income Disability, or Home Improvement exemption. 

To attend a workshop and ensure the health and safety of employees and residents, homeowners are asked to make an appointment by visiting the Department of Assessment’s homepage at: www.nassaucountyny.gov/Assessment.  Homeowners who do not have access to a computer may contact the Assessment Department at (516) 571-1500 to make an appointment or visit the Department in person at 240 Old Country Road in Mineola from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, for further assistance.
