(BAYVILLE, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Joshua Lafazan (Woodbury) in partnership with Nassau County’s Office of Emergency Management and Home Depot of Syosset invites residents to attend a Hurricane Preparedness Seminar on Tuesday, Oct. 5.
During the presentation, experts from Nassau County’s Office of Emergency Management will help residents better prepare for an array of emergencies, including extreme weather incidents like hurricanes, nor’easters and more, by sharing helpful tips for preparing, responding and recovering from extreme weather.
The first 50 attendees will receive a free hurricane preparedness kit. Residents who would like to participate in this seminar can register at https://www.nassaucountyny.gov/LD18.
