(WOODBURY, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D - Freeport) joined the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce on Friday, Oct. 29 for their annual breakfast meeting. During the gathering, Legislator Mulé presented Nassau County Legislature Citations to Baldwin Chamber of Commerce Businessperson of the Year Melanie Vaughn, owner of Pat’s Dance Studio (left photo), and Freeport Chamber of Commerce Businessperson of the Year Gregory Ingino, Executive Director of the Woodward Children’s Center (right photo).
“It has truly been a challenging year for small businesses in our communities, but Nassau County’s chambers of commerce have never wavered in their fierce advocacy for local businesses,” Legislator Mulé said. “Melanie Vaughn and Gregory Ingino embody the spirit of community-focused leadership that make neighborhoods and business districts more vibrant and prosperous, and it was a pleasure to join them and the entire Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce to celebrate a year full of achievements throughout our region!”
