
(BALDWIN, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D - Freeport) joined the Baldwin Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, Nov. 4 to celebrate the swearing-in of Franky Jorge, manager of Baldwin’s Gala Fresh Farms supermarket, as President of the organization. Jorge took the oath of office from Nassau County Executive Laura Curran, a Baldwin resident. In addition, outgoing President Erik Mahler was recognized for his successful 11-year tenure as the Chamber president during the gathering.
“Entities like the Baldwin Chamber of Commerce are indispensable resources for the small business communities they serve and advocate for,” Legislator Mulé said. “As the Chamber’s leaders pass the baton and look toward the future, I want to welcome Franky Jorge to the helm of the Baldwin Chamber and congratulate Erik for his years of dedication to the Baldwin community.”
