Mineola, NY – Media is invited to take a first look at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum Presented By New York Community Bank on Friday, March 31, 2017. Nassau Events Center invested $165 million dollars in the venue through a public-private partnership with Nassau County.
Prior to Billy Joel’s opening night concert on April 5th, media will see the arena’s gleaming new aluminum and glass exterior, modernized concession stands, upgraded seats, sparkling terrazzo floors, beautiful wood and tile finishes, and will taste specialties from the locally curated Long Island Taste culinary program.
