(PLAINVIEW, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker (D - Plainview) had the pleasure of joining with Plainview-Old Bethpage students at the district’s Howard B. Mattlin and Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle Schools on Friday, Nov. 18 for the district’s Fifth Grade Financial Literacy Day, during which students learned the fundamentals of budgeting, banking, saving, investing and more.
“Financial Literacy Day equips our youth with the knowledge to make smart decisions that will serve them well throughout their lives,” Legislator Drucker said. “Thank you to all of the principals, assistant principals, teachers and students for welcoming me into your classrooms and allowing me to be a part of this important activity!”
