Legislator Arnold Drucker Attends Celebrates Halloween in Syosset at Child Learning Center’s at “Trunk or Treat” Event
(SYOSSET, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) joined the Variety Child Learning Center’s staff and students for an afternoon of Halloween “trunk-or-treating” on Wednesday, Oct. 25.
During the family-friendly event, adults and children alike dressed in their best Halloween costumes as they trick-or-treated from an assortment of festively spooky and creatively interactive trunks. Youngsters received candy and other sweet treats from residents who participated in the safe Halloween-time car decorating event.
“Events like this ‘Trunk or Treat’ celebration capture the spirit of the season and offer a fun and safe alternative to traditional trick-or-treating,” Legislator Drucker said. “It was great to see so many families enjoying the spooky season and I thank everyone at the Variety Child Learning Center for hosting this Halloween celebration.”
