(FREEPORT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) visited J.W. Dodd Middle School’s Career Day on Friday, March 21, where she had the opportunity to share her insights and life experiences as a guest presenter during the event. Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé discussed her duties and responsibilities as an elected official; explained how her life led her onto its current path, and the obstacles and challenges she overcame to reach her goals.
“My public service journey began in the Freeport PTA and the Freeport School Board, so it is always tremendously special to speak with the young people who will lead us to a better future,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “Thank you to all the students and everyone at J.W. Dodd Middle School for welcoming me into their school; the students had wonderful questions, and it is always a joy to connect with our youth!”
