(PLAINVIEW and EAST MEADOW, N.Y.) – Nassau County Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) joined Young Israel of Plainview at the East Meadow Jewish Center on Sunday, March 16 for their 53rd Journal Dinner. As part of the festivities, Deputy Minority Leader Drucker presented Nassau County Legislature Citations to Guests of Honor Micha and Ed Rosenthal, and Young Leaders Yaffa and Adam Gartner.
“This year’s honorees have demonstrated their outstanding support for Young Israel of Plainview time and time again through the active roles they take in numerous committees, their support of the Mercaz Academy, and the warm hospitality they extend to all within the shul,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said. “It was wonderful to join with the congregation of Young Israel of Plainview to celebrate the values of steadfast community service, selfless leadership, and commitment to the tenets of Orthodox Judaism upon which these awards are based.”
