(UNIONDALE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) and Legislators Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) and Olena Nicks (D – Uniondale) attended the Nassau County Office for the Aging’s 49th Annual Older Americans Month Conference and Luncheon on Friday, May 16. Held at the Long Island Marriott in Uniondale, the gathering featured an array of informative workshops, community vendors, and a ceremony honoring the 2025 Senior Man and Woman of the Year, Eric Spinner and Linda Lee Hendrickson.
“I enjoyed how this wonderful event, celebrated our seniors while ‘flipping the script’ on aging by providing our guests with informative workshops and vendor tables,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “It was great to see that this event was big success, and I thank all who organize this one-stop shop for our seniors year after year.”
“Nassau County’s seniors built the foundation of our communities, and this wonderful celebration places a fitting spotlight upon their many contributions to the vitality of present-day Nassau County,” Legislator Koslow said. “It was a pleasure to be a part of this annual gathering, and I thank everyone who contributed to making this an enjoyable and informative day.”
