(FREEPORT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D - Freeport) had the high honor of presenting the Nassau County D.E.E.P. Award to Kimberly Melendez Melgar and Ethan Adelson on Tuesday, May 20. The D.E.E.P. award is presented to students who demonstrate dedication to community service; enthusiasm for education; excellence in character; and participation in extracurricular activities.
“Kimberly and Ethan are wonderful young leaders who are committed to improving the world and helping others – and their achievements are an embodiment of everything that the D.E.E.P. award stands for in the Freeport community,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “I congratulate them on their accomplishments so far – I can’t wait to see what they will accomplish and the lives they will touch in the years to come!”
