Nassau County Legislator Denise Ford joined together with U.S. Representative Kathleen Rice, Assemblyman Todd Kaminsky, local officials and residents in to express their opposition to the proposed Port Ambrose liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal, which would be constructed 17 nautical miles off the coast of Jones Beach.
“I am asking Governor Cuomo to hear the voices of those in opposition to the LNG Terminal and join us in saying “NO!” said Legislator Ford.
