On Monday, April 13th, the Nassau County Legislature held its annual awards ceremony recognizing the accomplishments of our local Intel Finalists and Semi-Finalists. Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) had the pleasure of honoring students from each of the school districts she represents. In total there are 3 Finalists and 8 Semi-Finalists in Legislator Jacob’s district. From Syosset High School, Vivian Zhong was a Semi-Finalist in the Behavioral and Social Sciences category, Ridoy Majumdar was a Semi Finalist in the Computer Science category, and Divij Sharma was a Semi-Finalist in the Physics Category.
