I would like to inform you that the New York State Department of Transportation is currently conducting a road construction project on NY 878 (Nassau Expressway) from Rockaway Turnpike to Burnside Avenue. I have been informed that the purpose of this project is to resurface the road and improve drainage.
Expect some Delays and Detours.
N.Y.S. D.O.T. states that the project is expected to take 4 to 6 months to complete, and will include delays and detours. I will continue to keep you informed of this project as I receive new information.
