The cold and heavy rain did not dampen the excitement at the Plainview YJJC on Sunday, March 30th, as a Variety Show was presented to raise funds to help the senior programs which are held at the “Y” regularly. Attending were Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs, Town Councilwoman Rebecca Alesia and Jacobs’ granddaughter, Sydney Geller. A packed gymnasium of smiling faces enjoyed a variety show which included young performers from various schools and from the YJCC. “It was just a wonderful afternoon for all. I am so in awe and in deep appreciation for all the “Y” does for the community,” said Jacobs.
