Today, March 19, 2014 was the Annual Read Aloud at the Walt Whitman School in Woodbury.
Legislator Judy Jacobs, (D-Woodbury) was given the pleasure to read to Mrs. Bookspan’s 1st grade class.
The theme this year was “Fit to Read”. Legislator Jacobs, read, “A Giraffe and A Half” by Shel Silverstein, a book that is a favorite of the children.
