[ARCHIVED] COUNTY CLERK CELEBRATES IRISH AMERICANS IN GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP HONOREES

(Mineola, NY) The Irish Americans in Government recently held their 21st Annual Scholarship Reception at the Westbury Manor. The Irish Americans in Government is a charitable organization whose members of Irish heritage contribute to the community through government service. Honored at this year’s Scholarship Reception were Donal M. Mahoney, Esq and Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick J. Ryder for their community activities and volunteer service.
The distinguished honorees were joined by family and friends, as well as area officials and presented with Citations in recognition of their life-long dedication to government, community service and the preservation of Irish culture and custom.

Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell took part in the celebration and expressed her congratulations to the honorees for their great commitment and service to the community.
