Legislator Judy Jacobs, (D-Woodbury) had the pleasure of welcoming students from two schools in the 16th LD to the Legislature. The Parkway Elementary School and HANC,(The Hebrew Academy of Nassau County) visited the Legislature and became Legislators for a day! The students were given a Bill to argue and vote on as they sat in the Legislator’s seats in the Chamber. It was a very educational morning and many students commented that they would like to become Legislators someday. “I am thrilled to see such enthusiasm in our young people, and I hope to see them as leaders”, said Jacobs.
