Nassau County Legislator Denise Ford took part in the National Education Association’s Read Across America Day, a nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually on March 2—Dr. Seuss’s birthday.
To celebrate this annual event, and Dr. Seuss’ birthday, Legislator Ford read “The Tooth Book” by Dr. Seuss to students at Lawrence Primary School Number Two.
“I’d like to thank Ms. Christine Gibbons for her invitation to celebrate Dr. Seuss' Birthday by allowing me to read one of my favorite books to your class at Lawrence Primary School Number Two. So much fun.” said Legislator Ford.
