[ARCHIVED] CURRAN ANNOUNCES HALLOWEEN ACTIVITIES AT OLD BETHPAGE VILLAGE RESTORATION

OLD BETHPAGE, NY – Nassau County Executive Laura Curran today announced upcoming Halloween festivities that will be taking place at Old Bethpage Village Restoration throughout the month of October.


Visitors can be transported back in time while experiencing the 1880’s Haunted Halloween and Safe Trick or Treating event hosted on October 27th and 28th from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.


There will be many activities for children including a costume parade and contest, Witch’s broom making, Reading of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, pumpkin painting, scavenger hunt, ghost legends of Long Island and appearances by the grim reaper and headless horseman. Ticket Prices are Adults: $13 for adults, $8 for children 5-12 and seniors 60+. Children under 5 are free.


Old Bethpage Village will be offering visitors an Escape Room experience known as “The Dark Cottage Escape Room” throughout the month. “Ghost Tours” at Old Bethpage will be open on the following nights: October 19th, 20th, 26th, 27th and 28th. Our Ghost Tours are presented by our docents, who have experienced supernatural phenomena within several of our historic homes. Hear firsthand their chilling tales and even listen to EVP recordings. There will be two tours each night at 6:15 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. All visitors must be over the age of 16. Tickets are $25.00 per person and there are only 30 tickets per tour available, all tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets can be purchased at:
