Drucker Receives Veterans Advocacy Award

(OLD BETHPAGE, N.Y.) - News 12 reporter Erin Colton presented Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker (D - Plainview) with the Veterans Advocacy Award during the Museum of American Armor’s annual gala held on Monday, Dec 9.


Located inside the Old Bethpage Village Restoration, the Museum of American Armor is dedicated to spotlighting the historic significance of World War II and other conflicts through the presentation and preservation of American armaments from that conflict. Leaders of the Museum recognize dedicated veterans’ advocates for their outstanding efforts and achievements and tireless efforts on behalf of the men and women who served.


“The brave men and women who wear this nation’s uniform in combat are prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our freedoms and our way of life,” Legislator Drucker said. “

“I am humbled to receive the Museum of American Armor Veterans Advocacy Award and reaffirm my solemn commitment to doing all I can to advocate for our veterans and their families.”
