(PLAINVIEW, N.Y.) - Legislator Arnold Drucker (D - Plainview) visited the Stratford Road Elementary School in Plainview, where he was welcomed as a guest reader to celebrate Community Reading Day. After reading “I Dissent: Ruth Bader Ginsburg Makes Her Mark” by Debbie Levy, Legislator Drucker discussed the book’s message of standing up for what is right and disagreeing with others respectfully. “In celebration of Women’s History Month, it is important that we teach our youth about strong and unapologetic women like Ruth Bader Ginsburg who continues to fight for gender equality and women’s rights,” said Legislator Drucker. “I was honored to have been invited and to celebrate Community Reading Day.”
