[ARCHIVED] Legislator Drucker, with Multiple Facilities Present Mobile COVID-19 Antibody Testing

WHAT: Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker (D - Plainview) is partnering with Advanced Cardiovascular Diagnostics and the Sid Jacobson JCC to offer mobile COVID-19 antibody testing aboard Advanced Cardiovascular Diagnostics’ mobile testing facility. Cardiovascular screenings will also be offered in addition to COVID-19 testing.

Legislator Drucker, Advanced Cardiovascular Diagnostics and community partners at the Mid Island Y JCC and Plainview Jewish Center brought mobile testing to the Plainview ShopRite on Thursday, June 4, where more than 110 residents were tested for COVID-19 antibodies.

“Knowing our antibody status gives us the ability to make informed decisions about how to best protect ourselves and loved ones from COVID-19,” Legislator Drucker said. “I’m proud to partner with Advanced Cardiovascular Diagnostics and the Sid Jacobson JCC as part of our ongoing efforts to meet the demand for antibody testing.”

Pre-registration is required - walk-ups will be accepted only in the event of a cancellation. Physical distancing and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines will be strictly observed. In addition, please bring insurance information for billing purposes; individuals without insurance are welcome to register and will be covered.
