[ARCHIVED] Legislator Arnold W. Drucker Invites Residents To Tune in for Upcoming Online Tax Exemption Workshop

WHAT: Nassau County Legislator Arnold W. Drucker (D - Plainview), in conjunction with community partners at the Mid Island Y JCC and the Family & Children’s Association, hosts an online tax exemption workshop on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020. During this workshop, residents can learn how to save money on their property taxes through the Basic STAR, Enhanced STAR, and Senior Citizen Real Property Tax Exemptions.

“At a time when more Nassau County taxpayers than ever are facing economic challenges amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, it is more essential than ever to ensure that we continue to educate residents about property tax exemptions in a safe, user-friendly manner,” Legislator Drucker said. “I am proud to partner with the Mid Island Y JCC and the Family and Children’s Association to host this online workshop, which will connect homeowners with valuable information about how they can secure the exemptions that they are entitled to receive.”

Registration is required and can be completed at http://bit.ly/DruckerTaxExemption. Successful For the convenience of Nassau taxpayers, this Zoom workshop will be simulcasted on Legislator Drucker’s Facebook page and recorded for future viewing.
