[ARCHIVED] GAYLOR HELPS KICK OFF HEWLETT HOUSE BLUE RIBBON INITIATIVE TO SUPPORT POLICE

LEGISLATOR GAYLOR HELPS KICK OFF HEWLETT HOUSE BLUE RIBBON INITIATIVE TO SUPPORT POLICE

Nassau County Legislator Bill Gaylor joined with Hewlett House Director Geri Barish, County Executive Bruce Blakeman, Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder, Suffolk County Police Commissioner Rodney Harrison and numerous elected officials, police officials and community members to kick off the Hewlett House’s first Blue Ribbon Initiative to support Police.

“We are seeing the increase in violence in New York City and we are seeing an increase in attacks on our police officers. Two have been murdered already, and over the weekend two more were injured due to gunfire,” Legislator Gaylor said. “This disrespect of police stops at the city line! Nassau County supports its brave men and women in blue! I am proud to join this blue ribbon campaign to let our police know we support them.”
