Electronics waste is growing exponentially. To help preserve landfill space and ensure that hazardous materials used to make electronics are properly disposed, Nassau County Legislator Patrick Mullaney wants residents to know they have the opportunity to safely and securely recycle their unwanted electronic equipment and dispose of e-waste at the Town of Hempstead’s E-Cycling Event on Saturday, April 11th at Town Park in Point Lookout. Remember: E-Cycling begins with you!
Residents may also bring personal papers and confidential documents to this event to have them shredded, free of charge. Limit: 5 file boxes or 5 paper bags of items to be shredded per resident. Do NOT bring papers in plastic bags.
