The proliferation of smart phones, social media and online gaming are having a profound effect on society, especially among today’s adolescents. Legislator Kayla Knight, in partnership with County Executive Bruce Blakeman, and the Nassau County Department of Human Services, is hosting this program to help parents learn the importance of digital resilience and arm them with tools for raising screen-smart kids using educational and practical problem-solving methods.
