(Mineola, NY) Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell and other area officials joined Village of Westbury Mayor Peter Cavallaro and members of the Westbury Village Board for a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony to commemorate the gifting of the VFW Post 945 building to the Village of Westbury.
The re-dedication ceremony commemorated the renaming of the VFW building as the new Westbury Military Historical Collection at the Cpl. James Walsh VFW Building.
The Westbury Military Historical Collection is dedicated to the men and women who served our country in time of war and will be the community’s tribute to the sacrifice of our veterans who have given so much in service to our Great Nation.
