NYS Citizen Preparedness Training

Nassau County Legislators John Giuffrè and Scott Strauss are joining together with New York State Homeland Security and Emergency Services to bring this informative program to residents to help them learn how to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergency weather events and other natural or man-made disasters. Experts will cover the essentials of family planning and properly stocking up on emergency supplies.
As an added bonus, a FREE preparedness kit will be provided to each family that attends.
