(MINEOLA, NY) –Nassau County Legislator Ellen W. Birnbaum (D-Great Neck) was honored by COPAY at their annual Kids Helping Kids Fall Luncheon for her work in the community. COPAY of Great Neck is a local organization which helps build strong, healthy families, breaking the cycle of addiction and ensuring that children and families lead better and more fulfilling lives. Legislator Birnbaum stated, “I was honored to be selected by COPAY, an organization which does such wonderful and important work in our community.” Other individuals who were honored for their service included: Sarah E. R. Brewster, Chief Director of Services and Operations at Círculo de la Hispanidad, Francisco Del Campo Lagos, Consul General for the Republic of Chile, Margarita Grasing, Executive Director of the Hispanic Brotherhood Inc. of Rockville Centre and George Siberón, Executive Director of the Hempstead Hispanic Civic Association.
