[ARCHIVED] MANGANO ANNOUNCES JULY CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP AT ELMONT PUBLIC LIBRARY

Mineola, NY - Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announced today that the County Offices for Aging and Mental Health, in cooperation with the Elmont Public Library, are offering a support group specifically targeted to respond to the needs of elder caregivers.  


The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Elmont Public Library, located at 700 Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont.  Meetings are held every month and are open to residents of Nassau County.  This support group will provide an opportunity for participants to share experiences and help one another.  The group is led by Marguerite Dilimetin, LCSW, CASAC, Support Group Facilitator.
