WHAT: Nassau County Executive Laura Curran, Legislator Joshua Lafazan (Woodbury) and leaders and supporters of the Long Island Coalition Against Bullying (LICAB) will commemorate Anti-Bullying Month in Nassau County with a dome lighting ceremony at the Theodore Roosevelt Executive & Legislative Building.
National Bullying Prevention Month was inaugurated in 2006 by the National Bullying Prevention Center at the Parent Advocacy Coalition for Educational Rights (PACER). The campaign is designed to unite communities across the United States for the purpose of raising awareness about bullying prevention.
