Nassau County enters into thousands of contracts each year with outside vendors to provide services.
The Office of the Nassau County Comptroller is authorized by the county charter to review and approve contracts before funds are paid (2017 procurement policy and page 60-62 of the county charter).
The Office of the Nassau County Comptroller maintains copies of approved county contracts that have been certified by the Clerk of the Legislature.
