Nassau County Legislator Rose Marie Walker and Catholic Health/St. Joseph Hospital are joining together to host a medical sharps disposal program as part of the DEA National Drug Take-Back Day.
Medical sharps will be accepted at the hospital’s main entrance (DO NOT GO TO EMERGENCY ROOM). Please place sharps in a puncture proof container such as an empty laundry detergent jug, plastic milk jug or glass jar with lid before dropping off.
