[ARCHIVED] Mangano Announces 1880 Haunted Halloween At Old Bethpage Village Restoration

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announced today that Old Bethpage Village Restoration will host “1880 Haunted Halloween” on Saturday, November 1st and Sunday, November 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The 1880 Haunted Halloween festivities will include:

• Reading of Irish and American ghost stories
• Hear the tales of our local grave digger
• Carving of Jack-O-Lanterns
• Participate in a 19th century Monster Hunt throughout the Village
• Tour the haunted habitats of Old Bethpage during the Village Ghost Walk
• Meet the Grim Reaper
• Ghostly Contra Dancing
• Witches Broom Making

Old Bethpage Village Restoration provides visitors with a unique and wonderful opportunity to step back in time and experience life in a recreated mid-19th Century American village set on more than 200 acres. Old Bethpage Village Restoration is open Wednesdays through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is $10.00 for adults and $ 7.00 for seniors and children; children under 5 are free.
