Bellmore-Merrick residents are invited to help fight prescription drug abuse and misuse by discarding your unused, expired or unwanted medications. Please stop by this free community event for environmentally safe disposal by the Nassau County Police Department.
Instructions for disposal: Keep all medications in the original containers, block out name for anonymity but leave medication information intact. Illegal drugs may also be dropped off anonymously.
Items that we cannot accept include: needles, syringes, thermometers, IV bags, Chemo drugs or liquids of any type.
