Nassau County Legislator Steve Rhoads joined Presiding Officer Norma L. Gonsalves at the first ever County and State fire camp for Junior Firefighters at the Nassau County Fire Service Academy in Old Bethpage. This camp was attended by 30 Junior Firefighters from various Fire Departments across Nassau County.
“These brave young men and women are learning the skills to become true heroes in their community,” said Legislator Rhoads.
