Presiding Officer Norma L. Gonsalves recently attended a dinner honoring American Legion Post 1082’s Immediate Past Commander Carl J. Pugliese, a resident of East Meadow, for his numerous years of dedicated service. Immediate Past Commander Pugliese was given a lifetime membership to the American Legion in honor of his tenure.
“Immediate Past Commander Pugliese has given many years to the American Legion and serving his community,” said Presiding Officer Gonsalves. “I am honored to attend this momentous occasion and present him with a Nassau County Citation in recognition of his commitment and distinguished service.”
