Presiding Officer, Legislator Norma L. Gonsalves (R-East Meadow, LD 13) recently attended the Centennial Kickoff Celebration for Cornell University Cooperative Extension of Nassau County at the East Meadow Farms. Cornell Cooperative has served many thousands of Nassau families through programs focused on horticulture, the environment, health, nutrition, consumer skills, parenting and youth development.
“Cornell Cooperative Extension has provided many important programs for families and youth in Nassau County,” said Presiding Officer Gonsalves. “I am very proud to be able to celebrate their Centennial and wish them many more years of success.”
