[ARCHIVED] Mangano: Applications Being Accepted Now for “Nassau Has Talent” Showcase

Mineola, NY – Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano has announced that the “Nassau Has Talent” Showcase will take place at Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre in Eisenhower Park on Wednesday, August 27th at 7:30 p.m.

The competition will be for solo and duet acts in vocal, dance, comedy, music, and gymnastics. Only twenty contestants will be selected for the Showcase based on applications received. Applications will be accepted for ages 6 thru adult. Applications must be submitted in a DVD format by Friday, August 8th and must be accompanied by copies of proofs of Nassau County residency along with the performance on DVD. A $10.00 application fee will apply.

Applications may be obtained at any Nassau County Park or Museum, and all Nassau County libraries. Applications have also been distributed throughout the community.
