[ARCHIVED] MANGANO TO HOST FREE HEALTH, FITNESS & SPORTS EXPO AT EISENHOWER PARK

Mineola, NY – Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano today announced that Nassau County Department of Health and the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Museums will be hosting a free Health, Fitness & Sports Expo on Saturday, September 10th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Eisenhower Park. Admission is free.

“Nassau County is honored to host this health, fitness and sports expo which offers residents an opportunity to participate in family fun activities,” said County Executive Mangano. “I invite all to come out to beautiful Eisenhower Park and enjoy a day filled with activities that promote health and wellness, and I thank all of our partners for providing these free outstanding services to the residents of Nassau County.”

People of all ages can enjoy an array of activities, including face painting, giveaways, bouncies and mechanical rides, sports clinics and health screenings. All activities will be held at the Kite Field, Parking Fields 6 and 6A.

This Health, Fitness and Sports Expo is sponsored by Winthrop University Hospital, Hofstra University, NuHealth, New York Institute of Technology, Northwell Health and K98.3.
