LEGISLATOR FERRETTI SECURES
FUNDING FOR FIREFIGHTER TRAINING
Nassau County Legislator John Ferretti, Jr. was proud to deliver funding to the Levittown Fire Department for a replacement of their training units. The funds will be used for the construction of floors and walls inside 40 foot shipping containers to help train firefighters.
“The men and women of our fire department work hard and train even harder so that they are able to save lives,” said Legislator Ferretti. “We need to do everything we can to make sure they have what they need to stay up to date with their training, and I’m happy to help secure these funds.”
